I work with couples and relationships, including families. I also work with adults and adolescents one-on-one. I welcome all 2SLGBTQ+ peers out there.
I know getting help is an investment and can be costly, so I work to find solutions and relief ASAP while also playing the long game of sorting stuff out. I respect how complex and deep our issues and injuries are, but believe solutions can also be simple, immediate, and magical. My care will be unconditional, and I will always be real with you.
As a master’s degree student, I have completed all practicum and course requirements. I am
finishing my research to fulfill all requirements toward registration as a Provisional Psychologist.
My training meets the highest professional standards, and I bring a decade-plus experience training and teaching in theatre, voice, and mind-body techniques.
I am always learning, and some ways we can approach issues are:
– ART (a cost-effective and evidence-based approach to resolving trauma)
– Psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, and existential approaches
– CBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy (getting problems out of you and into better stories)
– Anti-colonial, feminist, and system critiques
– Through your feelings, wishes, goals, and ideas
My experiences include but are not limited to:
– Anxiety, depression, and stress
– Grief and trauma
– Self-harm
– Job loss and self-esteem
– Communication and high-conflict relationships
– 2SLGBTQ+ issues and relationships
I can’t wait to meet and work with you or help answer questions you have.
I acknowledge and respect the Treaty 6 land that I live, work, and walk along. I strive to honour
my Metis and settler ancestors here on the Homeland of the Metis and to make respectful
relations that reconcile with the past while being the better future.
