Kelsey Martin

RPN, Psych Nurse

Works with individuals 13+

Hi there! I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing with 10+ years of experience, primarily in community settings. I have experience with continuity of care ranging from in-patient to community mental health, working with client psychiatrists, and consultation regarding medication regimens.

Whether you are taking your first steps towards therapy or you have been here before, I can appreciate that it can feel heavy and overwhelming to navigate life’s challenges. I believe in meeting you where you are at and collaborating together towards wellness. Whatever you may be carrying, I believe in acknowledging our experiences and differences as individuals without judgement, comparison, or minimizing. Life stressors are inevitable. If you are unsure whether counselling is right for you- feeling prepared might provide the comfort and confidence needed to take on anything that comes your way.

In my nursing practice I strive to create a safe space using a wholistic approach, combining my knowledge of the emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental aspects of health. I use an integrative therapy approach that tailors sessions to your needs including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have specialized training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. Although I work with a wide range of conditions and areas I specialize in include:
